It is know, that regular hard disk drives (ie. platted) can crash and do crash somethimes. More actual this question becom when SSD disks konquered into the storage market ie. - how reliable are SSD?. The same can be asked about all kind of media. But who might imagine, that most durable are - stoned tabletes! :)
